"The ratification of this agreement is significant for our dispatchers and the company," said Tracy Lee, United's vice president of network operations. "We look forward to the teamwork benefits we will achieve as our dispatchers become one group."
"I want to thank both negotiating teams and the National Mediation Board for their efforts in reaching this agreement that provides improvements for our dispatchers and makes United a more competitive company," said Mike Bonds, executive vice president of human resources and labor relations. "We are looking forward to working with our mechanics and flight attendants to reach joint agreements to become a fully combined workforce."

The company is starting an expedited negotiations process with the Association of Flight Attendants and expects to enter back into negotiations with the International Brotherhood of Teamsters, representing United's technicians, soon.
