Washington-Dulles International Airport (IAD) is the largest in the Washington, D.C., metropolitan area. It is one of the nation’s busiest
airports, serving nearly 22 million passengers a year. In 2013, United opened a new $45 million 125,000-sqaure-foot wide-body aircraft
maintenance hangar that helps deliver greater reliability to customers and enhance their overall travel experience.
